The Ministries of Jamaica are created on the discretion of the Prime Minister of Jamaica to carry out the capabilities of Government. As of 2021 the current Prime Minister is The Most Honorable Andrew Michael Holness, ON, MP. The agencies of Jamaica are created by both Parliamentary legislation and assigned to ministers to oversee. The governance structure consists of ministries with portfolios that have agencies that perform its features. The archdiocese is committed to caring for our priests, however we need your help. Your generosity is not going to solely ensure the health and properly-being of our priests, but also help their capacity to continue significant work in our parishes and communities. Priests have dedicated their lives to ministry, serving our needs as Catholics from the second we’re baptized until we obtain final rites before getting into eternal life.
